Why now
From 30 December 2026, products entering the European Union must carry proof of origin under the EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR). The requirement applies first to medium and large companies; micro and small companies follow from 30 June 2027. In the United States, the food traceability rule (FSMA 204) takes effect on 20 July 2028.
PDF declarations are no longer sufficient. Buyers need proof they can verify themselves.
How it works
- Submission. Your company’s system sends the record to TraceTus: a lot, a certificate, a custody event or a document. Your workflow remains unchanged.
- Proof generation. We compute the record’s fingerprint and batch it.
- Recording on the RBB. The proof is written to Rede Blockchain Brasil (RBB) under ACIEG’s identity and your customer’s account. Institutional endorsement, no cryptocurrency.
- Public verification. Public page, QR code or a direct query from the verifier’s own system. The answer comes from the network, independently of TraceTus.
- International anchoring. For export records, the same proof is also anchored on an international public network, so a verifier who does not know Brazil’s network checks it where it already trusts.

AI at both ends
At the origin, AI will draft the record from a document, and a person will confirm it. At the destination, an agent queries the proof and decides autonomously. AI handles the documentation; the network keeps the proof.
Software agents will increasingly purchase, audit and approve shipments. An agent needs a verifiable fact, not a document it has to trust. That is what TraceTus delivers: the agent queries, receives the proof and verifies it independently.
First integration: MaxxRural
TraceTus’s first integration is MaxxRural, MaxxSoft’s farm ERP used on around 5,000 farms. Farmers enter no additional information: harvest, weighing and invoice data already in the system become proof of origin endorsed by ACIEG, with a single click in the tool they already use every day. Pilot agreed with MaxxSoft; first real lots from the 2025/26 harvest. The full case study will be published once the pilot concludes.

Designed for people and for agents: REST, SDKs and MCP.

Plain answers
Why a blockchain rather than a database?
Because the verifier does not need to trust TraceTus or the issuer. The proof sits on a network operated by public institutions, which not even TraceTus can alter.
Is the network in production?
Yes. It has been in operation, with a public explorer, since May 2026 and is still maturing. Each new application is submitted to the network’s committee.
What if the network’s agreement is terminated?
The current agreement runs until April 2027 and its renewal is under way. TraceTus’s implementation is network-agnostic: same SDK, same schema, same record identifier. If necessary, records can be written to other networks with no change to the customer’s system.
How are LGPD and GDPR addressed?
No personal data is written to the network, not even as a hash. Individuals receive an internal identifier; the link is kept off-chain and can be deleted, which satisfies the right to erasure under both LGPD and GDPR. Each application has an impact assessment.
Does TraceTus compete with traceability platforms?
No. They are TraceTus’s customers. We are the proof layer, not the management product.
Do the records have legal value?
They constitute proof of integrity and of time. With a qualified signature such as ICP-Brasil, they support audit processes. They are not regulatory certification.

TraceTus is the technical operator of ACIEG’s access to Rede Blockchain Brasil (RBB). It develops and operates ACIEG’s own applications on the network and makes the same infrastructure available, under direct contract, to software vendors, traceability platforms, certifiers and associations. TraceTus is not a traceability platform, a certifier or a compliance consultancy, and does not compete with those who already serve the customer: it is the proof layer beneath those solutions.
ACIEG — the business association of the State of Goiás — was founded in 1937, has around 8,800 members and is the first business entity admitted to the network, since 11 June 2026. No other company operates that access. TraceTus does so under contract with ACIEG.
Rede Blockchain Brasil is a public-permissioned network founded by BNDES, Brazil’s development bank, and the Federal Court of Accounts, and operated by public institutions including Serpro, Dataprev, Prodemge, CPQD and RNP — the full list is available at redeblockchainbrasil.org. No cryptocurrency. Reading is public; writing is restricted to admitted institutions.
